Introducing Rafter 25 Ranch’s owners Jasmin & Felix Schellenberg. They are active on the ranch and as you can see here, riding the range in search of their cattle. Schellenbergs’ started the ranch just over 30 years ago and have become certified organic and Demeter Canada certified in the past years. Raising grass-fed and grass-finished beef and poultry is their specialty as well as pastured pork and sheep raised by 2 of their daughters on the ranch. Their youngest daughter of 4 now manages the range cattle herd over the warmer 3 seasons as well as taking care of the ranch irrigation and haying of the fields along with her partner. Their second oldest runs a restaurant in North Vancouver “Ethical Kitchen”. The circle from Pasture to Plate connects the entire family from Pasture to Plate.
